Ge Da De who was born on December 30th,1946 in Yueyang , Hunan, graduated from a research class after graduating from university .He is an early member of the Chinese Comparative Literature Institute and the Hunan Comparative Literature And World Literature Instistute. He is a Chinese poet and a distinguished member of Chinese Poetry Association [Membership No.02836], the member of Hunan Poetry Association[Membership No.099], A distinguished member of Dongting Poetry Institute，Yueyang Poetry Association，Chinese Couplet Association and Yueyang Calligraphys Assciation .He’s a research fellow of Chinese Poetry Culture Reseach Institute and a member of the Hunan Writers Union. He has ever taught in Yueyang City Original Teachers’ Training School, Yueyang City Electricity College, Yueyang City Boya Colloges and Universities, Self-examination advanced Studies School, Yueyang City Urban Construction Technical Secondary School , No. 4 Middle School in Yueyang and so on. He’s also a Chinese Senior lecturer ,a guest professor.As
a teacher with exploits ,he retired from No.4 Middle School, He’s both a Calligrapher and a Chinese classics Scholar (involving the research of the “Dream of the Red Chamber” ) He joined the The Red Cross Society of China Yueyang City Branch . His works have been collected in classical works and records. He has won several prizes throughout the country and abroad. Many volumes of his collected works are to be published in the near future.

The Dark Green Vegetable Beds
Here ever was a barren hillock
Here brambles ever grew.
It was my worthy wife and I who developed it.
The footprints of my wife were closer than mine.
Her sweat streamed much more than mine.
As a result ,it soaked this piece of poor soil.
The cucumbers hang on high,the snake melons lie on the bed.
The wax gourds grow in east,the watermelons sleep in the west.
The roots of vegetables taste light and delicate
